As an Electrician Trainee, you'll work alongside certified professionals on residential and commercial projects. We provide all necessary tools, safety gear, and comprehensive OSHA training. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install conduits, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
- Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro area
- No prior electrical experience necessary – training provided!
