Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely in various environmental conditions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Secure necessary permits and documentation as required by local regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.
- Basic understanding of mathematics, measurements, and reading comprehension.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain licensure.
