Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and panels.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Keep work sites clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade with a willingness to undergo training.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
