Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on electrical circuits
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects while learning best practices
- Use specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas electrician apprentice license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Physical stamina to handle climbing, lifting, and prolonged standing
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
