Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures per blueprints and safety standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Inspect components like transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring for compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with senior electricians on residential and commercial projects
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and California electrical code requirements
- Assist with emergency electrical repairs during on-call rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and tools
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to pursue state certification within 12 months
