Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Title 24
- Operate power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Assist senior electricians in troubleshooting and repairs
- Document work orders and maintain project logs
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotating schedule)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (or willingness to learn)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain California electrician license within 18 months
