Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work complies with national electrical codes and safety standards
- Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Prepare work areas and materials for efficient project execution
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California electrician apprentice certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/on-call
