Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist senior electricians in completing projects on schedule and within budget
- Perform safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (climbing, lifting, confined spaces)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to obtain California electrician certification within 6 months
