Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize hand and power tools correctly and safely to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school certification is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver’s License.
- Strong desire to learn and willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
