Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex electrical installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing equipment
- Assist with emergency service calls during after-hours and weekends
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to obtain Florida Electrician certification within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Tampa Bay
- Background check and drug screen required
