Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements
- Use hand/power tools safely and effectively for wiring, conduit, and fixtures
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems meet code requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
- Document work completed and materials used for accurate reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Sacramento
- Willingness to obtain electrical certification within 6 months
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Team player with excellent communication skills
