Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Prepare work sites and clean up after project completion
- Document work progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with journeymen and contractors on complex projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Willingness to obtain Louisiana electrician license within 6 months
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work weekends and occasional overtime
