Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn from the best by supporting senior technicians on residential and commercial job sites.
- Install Wiring & Fixtures: Perform basic electrical installation tasks including outlets, switches, lighting, and junction boxes under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret basic electrical plans and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep your personal tool belt and job site tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients to explain work being performed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: A basic education is required for this role.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and simple calculations.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Must be available to work a consistent schedule with weekly pay.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn the trade are essential.
