Responsibilities
- Install and repair residential plumbing systems under supervision
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe fitting, and fixture replacements
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for water distribution
- Comply with Texas plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Assist with emergency plumbing services and maintenance calls
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition
- Document work orders and maintain service logs
- Participate in ongoing skills development workshops
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Willingness to obtain required Texas plumbing licenses
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
