Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Perform diagnostic checks and basic repairs on pipes, fixtures, and water systems
- Use hand/power tools safely to cut, thread, and join pipes
- Maintain clean work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and technical specifications accurately
- Support emergency plumbing calls during on-call rotations
- Document service reports and inventory usage
- Participate in ongoing skills development training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain California plumbing certification
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Francisco
- Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail
