Responsibilities
- Install and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and blueprints
- Perform preventative maintenance on fixtures and pipes
- Collaborate with senior plumbers on complex installations
- Ensure all work complies with DC plumbing codes
- Provide clear explanations to homeowners and business clients
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program
- Basic tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC
