Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs
- Operate and maintain plumbing tools safely (pipe cutters, wrenches, drain snakes)
- Install and repair water heaters, faucets, toilets, and pipe systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and customer reports
- Maintain clean work sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Complete work orders and document service activities
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin
- Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
