Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and inspection methods
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Maintain clean and safe job sites, adhering to OSHA and local building codes
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners and contractors
- Complete paperwork accurately, including service reports and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces, heights, and adverse weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
