Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with residential/commercial pipe installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing system layouts
- Operate hand/power tools for cutting, threading, and joining pipes
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify leaks, clogs, and system inefficiencies
- Install fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters) and ensure code compliance
- Document work orders and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in emergency plumbing services during on-call rotations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain Pennsylvania plumbing certification within 12 months
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
