Responsibilities
- Install and repair residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Perform drain cleaning, water heater installations, and pipe replacements
- Adhere to NYC building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain clean worksites and professional customer interactions
- Complete service reports and maintain inventory of tools/materials
- Participate in ongoing skills development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete paid certification training
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
