Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn and adhere to Illinois plumbing codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Perform system inspections, leak detection, and fixture troubleshooting
- Document work orders, material usage, and job progress accurately
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic plumbing knowledge or technical trade school preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certifications within 12 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Chicagoland
