Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using industry-standard techniques
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under supervision
- Support fixture installations including sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Document work progress and complete daily task reports
- Participate in ongoing skills development programs
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Philadelphia metro
- Pass background check and drug screening
