Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Perform pipefitting, drain cleaning, fixture replacements, and water heater installations
- Follow local plumbing codes and safety protocols meticulously
- Operate power tools (drills, saws, pipe cutters) and diagnostic equipment
- Document work orders and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Participate in 200+ hours of paid annual technical training
- Collaborate with senior plumbers on complex system troubleshooting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/crawls
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Physical stamina for 8+ hour shifts with frequent kneeling/bending
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (we'll provide if needed)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
