Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems
- Learn pipefitting techniques for water lines, drains, and gas lines
- Perform diagnostic testing using plumbing tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Interact professionally with homeowners and commercial clients
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and on-the-job training modules
- Document service reports and maintain inventory of tools/materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Texas plumbing apprentice license
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass background check and drug screening
