Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements
- Gain proficiency in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and water heater maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Document service calls using digital reporting tools
- Participate in weekend emergency on-call rotations after training
- Complete state-mandated apprenticeship coursework
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Antonio
- Basic hand tool knowledge (wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers)
- Willingness to obtain Texas plumbing license within 18 months
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Background check and drug screening required
