Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in diagnosing plumbing issues and repairing fixtures, pipes, and water systems
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe fitting, and water heater installations under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics for residential/commercial projects
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to prevent future problems
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Use power tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized plumbing instruments
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
