Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers in installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn pipe fitting, fixture repair, drain clearing, and water heater servicing
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and technical schematics under supervision
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and assembly
- Document work orders and inventory usage
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certifications within 12 months
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Team player with excellent communication skills
