Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using advanced tools to identify leaks, clogs, and system failures
- Adhere to California plumbing codes and safety regulations during all operations
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including proper disposal of hazardous materials
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand service needs and provide solutions
- Complete detailed work orders and documentation for each service call
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic understanding of plumbing tools and materials
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety protocols and professional conduct
- Willingness to obtain plumbing apprentice certification within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout San Francisco
