Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform pipe fitting, drain cleaning, fixture repairs, and water heater services
- Maintain clean and safe work environments per OSHA standards
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and hands-on training modules
- Participate in on-call emergency rotation after certification phase
- Document work orders and maintain inventory of tools/materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Jacksonville
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Willingness to obtain Florida plumbing license within 2 years
