Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance of piping systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and blueprints.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under direct supervision.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with local safety codes.
- Study for and actively participate in our sponsored apprenticeship curriculum to obtain journeyman licensing.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide updates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and understanding blueprints.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
