Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with residential and commercial repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Learn to identify and use various plumbing tools, pipe cutters, and threading machines.
- Perform basic pipe fitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers to understand their needs and explain service details.
- Travel to job sites across the Houston metropolitan area as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and local plumbing codes during training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- No prior plumbing experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight or awkward spaces.
- Basic reading and math skills for measuring and following instructions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
