Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support senior technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Tool Preparation: Transport, organize, and maintain all necessary tools and equipment for daily job sites.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites are left clean, safe, and organized after each task.
- Pipe Assembly: Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Leak Detection: Help test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and visual inspection methods.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring proper inventory management at job sites.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to explain procedures and answer basic questions.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: This is a trainee position; we will teach you the trade.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and basic arithmetic.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adhere to safety protocols.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
