Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform diagnostic inspections using specialized equipment
- Install pipes, fixtures, and appliances following blueprints and codes
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Document service reports and inventory usage
- Participate in emergency on-call rotations (rotating schedule)
- Complete apprenticeship modules under supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to obtain Massachusetts plumbing license within 12 months
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
