Responsibilities
- Install and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions using diagnostic tools
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes during all operations
- Assist senior plumbers with pipefitting, drainage, and fixture installations
- Maintain clean job sites and organize tools/equipment
- Document work orders and inventory usage accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic plumbing tools and toolkit (company provides initial equipment)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing certification within 6 months
- Background check and drug test required
