Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Perform basic pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipe sections, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot common plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and drainage problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere strictly to all local building codes and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we are looking for eager learners.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
