Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Perform basic pipe installation, repair, and maintenance under close supervision to learn industry standards.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, explain technical issues in simple terms, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Tools & Equipment: Learn to properly use, clean, and maintain essential plumbing hand tools and power equipment.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, measuring materials, and cutting pipes to specifications.
- System Checks: Help test new plumbing systems (drains, water lines) to ensure they are leak-free and functioning correctly.
- Inventory Management: Assist in keeping the company vehicle and work truck organized with necessary supplies.
- Adherence to Safety: Strictly follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on every job site.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior plumbing experience required; we are looking for eager candidates ready to be trained.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precision work.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work a full-time schedule.
- High School Diploma: Equivalent or GED preferred.
