Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support experienced plumbers during installations and repairs to gain hands-on field experience.
- Site Preparation: Help clear job sites, organize tools, and prepare the area for plumbing work.
- Basic Installation: Assist in the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances under close supervision.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and inventory pipes, valves, and fittings safely and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with customers and answering basic inquiries.
- Clean-Up: Ensure work areas are cleaned and sanitized after every job to maintain safety standards.
- Documentation: Help complete necessary paperwork and logs for daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior plumbing experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must be able to drive to various job sites within the Philadelphia area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and basic calculations.
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED certification.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check.
