Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential/commercial plumbing systems
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, and basic fixture assembly under supervision
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify plumbing issues and report findings
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly store tools/equipment
- Follow safety protocols and comply with Michigan plumbing codes
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
- Complete daily paperwork and job documentation accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong commitment to learning and following instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- No plumbing experience required – paid training provided
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
