Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in on-the-job training for pipefitting, fixture installation, and pipe repair
- Document work progress and maintain inventory of materials
- Develop expertise in reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Provide exceptional customer service during service calls
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Texas plumbing apprentice certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergency calls
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
