Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform diagnostic evaluations for residential and commercial plumbing issues
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and building codes for compliance
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in emergency plumbing services as needed
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certifications within 12 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/on-call shifts
