Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and inspection methods
- Perform preventive maintenance on water heaters, sump pumps, and sewer lines
- Adhere to safety protocols and local plumbing codes during all tasks
- Complete job documentation and inventory management duties
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/on-call
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across El Paso County
- Must pass background check and drug screening
