Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams for residential/commercial projects
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures
- Use hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and company protocols
- Support emergency plumbing services during on-call rotations
- Document work orders and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to complete 3-4 year apprenticeship program
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
