Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in fixture installations, pipe repairs, and system diagnostics
- Learn to read blueprints and technical schematics for residential/commercial projects
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, and assembly under supervision
- Conduct basic leak detection and water pressure testing
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Document work orders and material usage using digital tracking systems
- Participate in weekly safety briefings and technical training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (EPA 608, OSHA 10)
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Greater Boston
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
