Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Perform routine inspections using diagnostic tools to identify leaks, clogs, and system inefficiencies
- Operate hand/power tools safely for pipe cutting, threading, and fixture assembly
- Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional conduct
- Maintain organized workspaces and properly dispose of materials per environmental standards
- Participate in ongoing skills development workshops and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required; training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout San Jose
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
