Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and building codes
- Perform basic pipe fitting, fixture installation, and pipe threading
- Prepare job sites, transport materials, and maintain tools/equipment
- Document work progress and complete daily task reports
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Florida driver's license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Willingness to obtain plumbing apprentice certification
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
