Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system repairs
- Learn and apply plumbing codes and safety protocols on job sites
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for water, gas, and drainage systems
- Install and repair appliances, water heaters, and HVAC connections
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
- Complete daily reports and documentation as required
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours and emergency calls
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston
- No prior plumbing experience necessary – training provided
- Pass background check and drug screening
