Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in residential/commercial installations and repairs
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues and perform basic troubleshooting
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and skill assessments
- Participate in on-call emergency rotation after training completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to commit to 6-month training program
- Basic tool knowledge preferred (not required)
