Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Support experienced technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial piping systems.
- System Installation: Help install new plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems according to local codes and blueprints.
- Leak Detection: Assist in identifying and repairing leaks in pipes, faucets, and water lines.
- Tools & Equipment: Learn to properly use, maintain, and transport plumbing tools, pipe wrenches, and soldering equipment.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure work sites are clean, organized, and safe after every job completion.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions about services, and maintain a positive company image.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required (for company vehicle use).
- Problem Solving: Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
