Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Perform pipe fitting, drainage cleaning, and fixture repairs under supervision
- Maintain clean and safe job sites following OSHA standards
- Complete apprenticeship training modules and skill assessments
- Develop customer service skills for client interactions
- Use and maintain plumbing tools and equipment properly
- Participate in emergency call rotations as training progresses
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to complete 6-month paid training program
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Philadelphia
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
