Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan plumbing projects.
- Perform basic pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and joining pipes.
- Inspect work areas to ensure safety compliance and quality standards are met.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain service needs and solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
